I'm with you ga and bee. We only buy wines over a fiver at Christmas (and then not much over a fiver!). I also buy Aldi wine. They do a nice one for £3.99 (can't think what it's called). Asda used to do 3 for a tenner but they have stopped this offer now
They were nice wines, you could pick from a few different ones. I can't tell the difference between cheap and expensive, but I know what tastes nice to me. We used to do the 'booze run' to France and some of the wines were ridiculously cheap and they were great.
