She flexed her eight talons

Listening to one ancient tranny

The eagle had spotted a granny

They knew that their blues had all lifted

When she spotted some mice

When the owl hooted twice

At least seven hours they had frittered

T'two Grans just tutted and twittered

(I'm from 'up north' as well, and don't pronounce it like that - but never mind!)

Ana my friend comes from up north and she pronounces floral with a soft o, so it sounds like o as in floss, that is why I used it to rhyme with quarrel.

And made soup with chicken and sorrel.

I'll leave you all to it, I think! (and floral doesn't rhyme with quarrel either...) I'm obviously far too pedantic for this thread.
