in most dishwashers the filters are in the floor of the machine. They are usually under the colander style flat plate. Take the bottom rack out completely and have a look.
The far left in France, could it happen here?

. That might explain why mine doesn't seem to clean very well
Oh, blimey, I hope not!
the dishwasher has been leaving that sort of dried on weetabix looking stuff in the mugs (except this is red) so I thought I'd better clean the filters.
I opened up the dishwasher and discovered that I didn't know how to clean the filters. 
Well, we have only had it since December last year!
