Wall to wall sunshine here on our hols in the New Forest.

Off to the Isle of Wight as foot passengers and then to visit Carrisbrooke Castle.

Cloudy but very hot in north essex.We are promised sun shine later.Have a nice day

Cloudy here in East Sussex. We had a power cut at 12.45 last night which sets of the fire alarm beeping. This in turn terrifies the dog so......using the phones light had to go downstairs and reset the fuse box.
Are all dogs scared of beeping?

Cloudy in NW London but still warm. I think sunshine is forecast for later- I am looking forward to Thursday's 30C. It would be rather different if I had to work and was battling with the heat on the tubes.

Gloriously sunny in the Tees Valley.

Need to do the big shop today (groan), so it's meal planning and list time, what a waste of a lovely day.

A friend's lovely golden retriever is staying with me for a few days, as she doesn't do well in kennels. She is now 11 and I noticed last night with amusement that our paces are now well matched as we plodded round the park. Having worn herself out with the effort of getting up and having breakfast, she is now fast asleep again. I know how she feels as I like to come round with a coffee and Gransnet first thing.

Good morning just back from my downland walk where it was blowy and drizzly but now the sun is out and it is still humid.

Into the garden I think and begin the big cutback as it has grown tremendously after all the winter rain.

No weight lose even though I am being strict with keeping to the diet plan - so perhaps today I will have nothing for lunch - so it will be

poached egg on small piece of toast
lunch - nil or perhaps just some fruit
supper - vegetable pasta with cheese sauce (very little cheese) fruit

Good morning all, warm and sunny here.
Early morning wash on the line has just had to be taken in as two surveyors have arrived to measure our land and the washing was flapping away merrily exactly where the chap wanted to place his telescope thingy. His partner,a lady, is clambering over the rough ground in the distance with DH to find the exact point that our land ends.

Moving stuff to make room for DD and 2DGC's stuff. Now, if I make space how do I persuade her that her stuff needs to go in it

Good morning, breezy here today and quite a lot of cloud. haven't been out yet but I think it is mild. Going to collect GC's birthday gifts we reserved at Argos, we will have to find somewhere to hide them during the school holidays

Hot and sunny here in N Ireland however power hosing is being done down the side of our apartment block and the noise is horrendous all the windows have had to be closed but it`s still driving me made he`s been at it for about half an hour now pl, pl stop

I've just had a letter to say my gym has closed down ; thankfully I hadn't paid for next years membership but I did enjoy going there . It's a bit overcast here today; I'm hoping for rain as I don't want to have to water the garden.
