If I had loads of money I would live in---

If I could afford it, I'd move to London to be near my DD and family

I would live in the house in the clouds at Thorpeness in Suffolk, also would have a London flat and a villa somewhere warm oh and perhaps a really swish camper van when I wanted to get away from it all.

I would buy a large plot of land, haven't decided where yet. I would build a smallish cottage for me and a large house for son and dil. They would be in the traditional style but very Eco. I'd do the garden and the swish camper van sounds a good idea, but it would have to come with a driver.

Well, we can all dream!

I'd live between Thorpeness and Aldeburgh chloe in one of those former shacks that have been converted into houses that are almost totally glass and worth an absolute fortune!

I would stay right here because I have lovely neighbours. I would like to give the house some treatment though to make it suitable for my old age - down stairs loo for starters !

.....I would live in my house! But I might tart it up a bit!

A big bungalow near my two families and with plenty of room for guests and GC - and a carer if I ever need one!

I would stay in my house, too, but extend into the roof space to give me a lovely view over the woods and I'd have my little outbuilding converted with all the home comforts so I had a garden room to relax in.

In Belguim but maybye not in Brussels, I like it here. SIL wants to have a Goat farm and make cheese when retires so somewhere for all of us in the Ardennes probably.

My son and I were discussing this yesterday! We both agreed that we wouldn't live anywhere that had nasties that we had to look out for on a daily basis and that ruled half of the world out!

I think I would still stay here - especially if I had enough money to get decent healthcare off the Island (it's the only downside I can think of).

A big old mansion I see every time we drive to Newcastle. It's derelict but I always say if I win the lottery I'm going to do it up and turn it into a hotel. (with staff of course to run it!)

While we were away on holiday I got a text from the National Lottery to say "we have news about your ticket". My DH and I spent that night dreaming about how we would spend "our win". A farm for my son, DiL and the children who spend their lives at a friends farm, a bungalow for my mum and dad in a nice area with a lovely view, a little house for my sister and a bigger place for my daughter........... we never once mentioned anything for us two, which was just aswell as when we got back and logged into our lottery account we had only won £3.50 !

Kitty , have to agree with you, those places are fabulous I love to walk on the beach by those houses very slowly so I can get a good look inside and dream how it would be to live there? Just wouldn't want to clean the windows

If money were no object and the NT would release it I would install myself, DH, DD and SiL andall the grandchildren in Burton Agnes Hall near Scarborough, it's gorgeous. There would be plenty of room for all. I would invite DS too but I don't think hevwould come.

I'd have staff, obviously, chloe. One of whom would just clean the windows.

If stay here, but install a lift and a wet room.

I would love to buy back my family home on the Isle of Wight which has recently been for sale. It has been divided into holiday flats but Ventnor is too hilly for us now and I could no longer deal with four flights of stairs!!

But if money's no object we'd soon find the right property!!

I would want to stay in my area [because all my family are here] but would like to live in Kelmscott manor which is near me, and was owned by William Morris, an arts and crafts house with a perfect English garden.

Anywhere in Northumberland in a quaint village with a cosy little friendly pub - sorted.

I would like a beach hut (just for the hols) on Mudeford Sandspit, but as one went for £250,000 recently (and it doesn't have a loo) I think I will admire it from a distance when we visit there next week on our hols to the New Forest.

I would buy a small but beautiful house with room for visitors and a large enclosed garden, another little place in my native Yorkshire and spend the rest of the money travelling. I want to visit India and South Africa

Scotney Castle, Kent. But only if I could move it, lock, stock and 700 acres to North Norfolk. I know just the spot - overlooking Morston.

And then I'd look out for a nice place in Melbourne to spend the winter. Somewhere with a watery view and a yacht (large with crew).
