jingle it reminds me of the time the Wonderful Man entertained our baby with a stick on rattle similar to this that he stuck on his forehead and waved about by nodding his head for ages, making the baby laugh. Well, the laugh was on him for the next few days because he carried the mark of that sucker on his forehead for about three days after - with everyone asking what he'd done. grin Anyway - fast forward several years and a colleague arrived at work with the self-same mark on his forehead a few months after having had his first child......oh how my husband laughed. grin

Gwyneth Patrow pays good money for that, I think they call it cupping!

GA, my dad entertained my nephew, his first GC, in the same way and ended up with that same bruise! Subsequent GCs were entertained differently!

granny my husband did exactly the same as that - I had to prise the rattle of his head with a knife, because I could not pull it off! It is so funny I should have read this post this morning, because for some unknown reason I was thinking about that incident only yesterday. Very strange.

My dad stuck a rattle on his forehead too - then a chap walked into his shop with the same mark. They looked like they'd been victims of an alien abduction.

So good to know DH is not the only pratt silly billy who stuck a rattle on his forehead. He was pretending to be a unicorn giving them rides to the magic cave (cupboard under the stairs)

When I finally managed to prise it off it left a purple lump for about a week. hmm
