Tomorrow my son and family are coming to stay so today is the mad clean-up(only happening because my car is in the garage getting a new clutch and I can't get to the stables!!)
I have never been good at the housework lark but even I am surprised at finding so much evidence of Xmas after their last visit. In my defence I live alone and don't use some rooms but I am smiling as I collect the tinsel and remember what a good time we had.

It sounds to me as if you have your priorities right jenn! Anyone can do housework but only you can welcome your son and family and have a lovely, happy, fun time with them. Remember what Quentin Crisp said about dust? I think he said it doesn't get any worse after 4 years - or something like that. Your family are coming to see you not the house so relax and enjoy them! Here are flowers to stick in a vase and distract attention from any bits you miss. grin

We still have our Easter Tree up with all its painted eggs - it looks so lovely I cannot bring myself to take it down!

I'm still at it!!!
Wish the garage would ring.

Never too early to get the decs up! And I trust the sprouts are on?

I thought this was going to be a post about Christmas in July (an Australian idea hmm).

I did find a couple of little Easter eggs the other day, well hidden by DD for the Easter egg hunt and missed by the children - this years's I hope, because I ate them.

Have a good time with your family jenn.
