Good morning from a bright, sunny Cheshire.

Good morning from a dull essex

Good morning all!!

It's bright (ish) in North Leicestershire but the forecast is not brilliant though, thankfully, doesn't include rain.

I'm having my highlights done today and then I must tackle the ironin!

Enjoy your days everyone sunshine

NanKate Mon 16-Jun-14 08:23:01

Morning Mick and All.

Sunny at present in the Thames Valley

Kitty to help you with your 'ironin' I suggest you daydream about those heartthrobs you listed. grin

good morning from a dull south coast. Today is cleaning the bathroom (boring) and cutting back in the garden (lovely). Menu planned is pasta and sweet pepper sauce for lunch and lamb steaks with a yogurty mint sauce and veg for supper. Total calories about 900 that doesn't include breakfast or drinks etc.

Morning all. Bright and warm in E Cornwall. I'm off on our community bus to Truro for the day. It's quite a long journey but I do like Truro. (Lunch at the Cathedral, M&s etc.)

Good morning everyone, promises to be a nice day here, so gardening later on, and since it is the other half's birthday, a meal out with friends this evening. Envy you your trip to Truro ruby, we love Cornwall as a whole, but Truro was always a must for a visit - my mother in law came from Truro, and was always convinced that one of her ancestors married a Spanish Princess - he was a sailor obviously, but we have never found any evidence of this. Enjoy your days.

Morning everyone, warm and sunny here in Oxfordshire. Not enough rain, so much watering to do later in the garden. whitewave I have had breakfast [just toast and marmalade] but your delicious menu for today has made me hungry already.I like Truro too, didn't know you could have lunch at the cathedral ruby ?

Lona Mon 16-Jun-14 09:03:37

Good morning from sunny (so far) Cheshire.
I think I shall have a rummage in TK Maxx for some nice new bedding and pillows. I just love the household dept.

I also have a pile of 'ironin'! smile

Charleygirl Mon 16-Jun-14 09:12:27

A tad dull here in NW London. I would be happy to clean eg a bathroom in exchange for ironing being done, any offers?

Gagagran Mon 16-Jun-14 09:17:24

Yes Charleygirl I like ironing and don't like cleaning so am happy to swap. I'll be round at yours shortly! Is the kettle on? grin

Dragonfly1 Mon 16-Jun-14 09:32:13

Good morning from a fairly bright south Staffs. Plan today is to build, site, fill and plant a raised bed in one of my borders. Never done it before, but like lots of things since DH died, if I want something doing, I jolly well have to do it myself! Or pay someone. It's amazing what I have learned to do in the last three years! Enjoy your day, everyone.

harrigran Mon 16-Jun-14 09:35:32

Good morning from a cloudy north east. DH has just brought morning coffee to bed, climbed in and the bed collapsed shock

Dragonfly1 Mon 16-Jun-14 09:45:09

Harrigran grin !!

Charleygirl Mon 16-Jun-14 09:49:26

Gagagran that will be ideal. I cannot clean an entire house but do not mind odd jobs such as cupboards or a bathroom which I particularly like. Yes, I am about to make myself coffee and toast so you are very welcome. I have to wash the cushion covers before they are ready for ironing!

sparkygran Mon 16-Jun-14 10:10:55

Morning everyone from a bright and sunny N Ireland. This morning I am once again going to try and conquer transferring photos from camera unto laptop and thence to FB - but maybe I`ll just make coffee and think about it some more!! This afternoon collect adorable Granddaughter and bring her home for tea pity about the homework though its getting harder and harder and she`s not 10 till Wednesdaysmile

Oldgreymare Mon 16-Jun-14 10:15:21

Good morning all.
Not such a good morning here:
Monday means bathrooms get their 5* clean (Just a quick wipe other days) AND.....
I have pounds and pounds of gooseberries to process starting with topping and tailing them. I usually freeze some and make gooseberry jelly with most of them.
Ah well, Tai Chi this afternoon might get me in the mood hmm
Whitewave with you in spirit smile Charleygirl wish you were near!
P.S. the OH, no help at all, has gone off to set up some Bridge hands grrrrrr!

Brendawymms Mon 16-Jun-14 10:48:00

Good morning all from somewhere off Spain. We are on a cruise. It's like a drug is cruising as we have booked another cruise and only been on board two days. First stop is Malaga.

sparkygran Mon 16-Jun-14 11:51:06

I`ve done it not quite sure how but managed to post one of my paintings on FB now need to go into a darkened room and have a lie down

HollyDaze Mon 16-Jun-14 12:03:36

Good afternoon smile

Lovely sunny day again, quite warm as well. Whatever your day involves, I hope it's a good one.

dustyangel Mon 16-Jun-14 12:52:01

Good afternoon all, a grey sky earlier with cloud cover but the sun has come back again now. Much cooler thank goodness, about 10 degrees lower than yesterday. smile

rubysong, I had a lovely wander round Truro once years ago when DH was working there for a few days. I like cathedral towns.

whitewave Mon 16-Jun-14 19:57:08

All good plans as they say.
The only thing I did today on my list was make and eat lunch.

Dog got taken to hospital so no bathroom or garden got done.
Daughter turned up with a box of shortbread for Dad so we all sat yakking and eating shortbread with tea and then went on to a Chinese takeaway so major explosion to the diet!!

Tuesday tomorrow - start again
