Sun in Maidenhead where I am temporarily in residence. Yesterday, when driving south from Fife, we went from 13 degrees to 26 in a matter of minutes - strange old world

So hot last night in East Sussex that sleep was an optional extra. Hot and very calm here with no wind at all which is very unusual on the top of this Wealden hill.
Spent yesterday pm with youngest DGC we both had a nap together, lovely.

Three days until holiday. Not that I'm counting.

Good morning all! Warm and sunny here in SE Hampshire and set fair for the day and week. Lovely!

Car has to go in this morning for its air con to be topped up - it is blasting out warm air instead of cool. Not sure what the topping up consists of but no doubt it will cost a pretty penny!

It was so bright in NW London when I woke up at 6am I thought that I had left the lights on. Another beautiful day. Still clearing up after the builders, plaster dust gets everywhere.

It was 23c in my car yesterday. Wonder if we'll beat that today.

Good morning everyone, a lovely morning here again, and after an exhausting day in the garden yesterday slept like a log right through the night, so feel very chirpy this morning. Off to a meeting with United Response later, have promised myself to keep schtoom, very difficult will see what happens. Enjoy your days.

Mornin' All. A beautiful day here again today. We had a bit of thunder and rain last evening and today there's hardly a cloud in the sky. Woke at 6 and got the ironing done in the conservatory before it gets too hot.

Now off to do a little light weeding.

Here in North Leicestershire we seem to be alternating between really bright sunshine and then clouds. Hope the sunshine wins!!

I'm going shopping for accessories for my wedding outfit - a bag and necklace - why are the little things the most difficult to find? Yesterday, I made an appointment to have a hat made to go with my jacket. I will then hire the hat and it will go back into the hat maker's stock of hire hats - how good [and inexpensive!!] is that?
