Welcome, nannotgran. You'll find we can be crazy, chatty, argumantative, but always supportive. Enjoy Gransnet. janerowena, I once was a relatively young granny, in my early 50s - my GD1 is now 22. Surprising how fast they grow up!

Ana Wed 11-Jun-14 22:15:09

You're funny, Silverfish, I think I like you! grin

Hello Nannotgran. I prefer to be Grandma as my Mum is Nan. Less confusing for the little ones.

Once you are more familiar with Gransnet why not click on the LOCAL tab at the top of the page and find your Gransnet Local site. You can say hello on the local forum and see if there is anyone who lives near you.

I'm a grandma in my 50s, I am hoping that the title helps me to age more gracefully. After six years I'm still hoping. I can't believe he is six... As of last Saturday!

Hi Nannotgran I found GN in my husband's computer magazine and he's regretted it ever since grin

Nelliemoser Sat 07-Jun-14 18:52:33

Nannotgran Welcome its not immediate chat on here but poke around and see what's going on.

GN can be addictive a lot of fun and very supportive when needed.
Soops kitcheners, which is now in it's third incarnation is the place to go to relax and feel comforted, and eat lot of virtual non fattening cakes.

I meant to add that if our name is in blue click on it and it will tell you a bit more about ourselves.

NanKate Sat 07-Jun-14 18:19:23

Hi there Nannotgran.

Gransnet is totally addictive and great fun.

I suggest each morning when you log on that you go to 'Good morning whatever the day' . Mick from Bracknell always tells us the weather in his town. We usually then follow suit with the weather where we live and what we are doing that day. It seems to start the day well.

Speak soon.

Marelli Sat 07-Jun-14 18:10:17
