Whats CPN support?

Yes a lot to think about, such a mixture of emotions , my daughter miscarried twins in April and I couldn't be with her, her husband was not in the country so she was very much alone . I will give it much thought, things may change for the better here , thank you

Making a move like this is a huge step, and if you are currently receiving CPN support, I can imagine that it must be daunting and stressful.

How much family and friend support would you be leaving behind in Wales? Would you feel able to manage without that, even though your DD is around in Lincolnshire?

Do you have particular interests that you would wish to continue? - could you research the possibilities online for Lincolnshire?

Could you rent a place and spend a month or two getting the feel for the place before committing yourself to a move?

Please also bear in mind that our children are busy people and although they might live nearby they do not necessarily have lots of time to share with us; you do not want to be dependent on contact with them, because you have left behind all your familiar activities and friends.

Thank you, I am thinking of Woodhall Spa , my daughter speaks of driving to Horncastle, I think for the vet. I am so undecided , I would love to see more of my daughter and I suppose flee much stress here. Gosh I wish I had the courage to just move

I live in Boston, but am afraid it`s not the place it was when we moved here from Greater Manchester in 1977. There`s much more crime, but that`s escalated since we turned into Little Eastern Europe. There are also a lot of empty shops around, so not surprising that people go to Lincoln and Peterborough when they want a decent day out at the shops. After saying all that, it depends whereabouts in Lincolnshire you`re thinking of moving to, the Wolds are lovely.

I used to live near Horncastle, my children went to schools in Woodhall Spa and Alford respectively, what do you want to know? We drove all over the county, everything is far apart so shopping was done just as often in Lincoln as in Boston, Market Rasen or Mabelthorpe. Or pop up to York or down to Grantham, across to Nottingham.

I lived there in a very small village for five years. People were very friendly and welcoming but I'm sure it varies, as does any place you choose. They have buses that you can dial to pick you up. They have time to serve you properly and chat in shops, I suspect it's not much different from living in Wales. In Winter, we used to say 'Lincolnshire is closed for the Winter', but in summer it's beautiful. The beaches (apart from Skeg) are beautiful and empty. It's a cheap place to live in. Still lots of bakers and butchers.
