Have a wonderful time, Galen.

Soop, the facelift at Tarbert sounds very nice, but I hope it isn`t too altered, I loved it as it was, one of our favourite places to visit. I hope the weather was better for you than it`s been for us today, dull and wet all day today, not too warm either.

kittylester Wed 04-Jun-14 15:52:28

Just a quick visit to say that I hope you have a super cruise Galen - keep in touch when you can! And leave the butlers alone!! wine

Nellie, hope you are feeling more upbeat flowers

Thanks agus, we are having a super time. sunshine even though it rains some of the time!

See you all when I get back home - I'm looking forward to home now smile

Dragonfly1 Wed 04-Jun-14 14:50:25

Galen, have a great cruise. I envy you, wish I had the courage to go away on my own! Hope the weather is kind, (bound to be better than the ruddy rain here!) and that you remembered to pack the pearls.

Galen Wed 04-Jun-14 14:42:33

Wish you could all come with me. Hope the weathers better than here.
I'll keep in touch when I find Internet cafes. The first three days are at sea, then we're at Tallinn on the Monday.

Icyalittle Wed 04-Jun-14 14:10:18

Hello soop! It sounds as if you are well, I'm so pleased. I haven't been around for a while so had missed the newest re-incarnation / migration. So lovely to see so many daft besoms old friends are here already. I'm afraid I haven't done any baking recently because I'm coughing fit to bust, but I've got some elegant little French macarons to share if anyone would care for one?
Dear nelliemoser, I hope your life feels more sunny today. sunshine

We've been walking alongside the harbour in the pretty village of Tarbert. Thanks to funding, the entire area around the marina has had a super-duper face-lift. The improvement is totally amazing. There is now a wee safe area for children to play, and for adults who feel so inclined, a couple of exercise bikes. So, the children can use their play area while the parents either sit back and enjoy the comings and goings in the marina or pedal away to their heart's content. Tarbert hosts an annual regatta and seafood festival.

Agus I look forward to seeing the framed portrait of Bobby. It's lovely knowing that you will feel that in some small way he's back at home with the family. smile

Galen have a wow of a cruise. No matter if you've forgotten something or other, you can go shopping on board...very posh! kitty...very droll wink

mcem Oh dear, I'm so sorry to hear that your daughter is continuing to need hospital treatment. Your days must be overwhelmingly hectic. The grandchildren are of an age when they are at their most demanding. You certainly are a marvellous grandparent. I admire you. If, when you visit the kitchen, you feel drained of all your energy, just remember that the chaise is reserved for you. Feet up! Take five minutes and relax. flowers

Will throw it downstairs when I go up!

MiceElf Tue 03-Jun-14 21:26:57

I saw you mentioned drugs, I'm assuming that's a sneaky spliff.

Galen Tue 03-Jun-14 21:26:06

Packed! I don't go until Thursday. I normally pack the night before!
I'm getting worried, this is NOT ME to be so organised!

MiceElf Tue 03-Jun-14 21:24:28
