Good morning, it is pouring here in the north east. No child minding today so I am going to collect new reading glasses from Opticians.
Took GD to see Postman Pat yesterday and got the last two tickets in the cinema, worth the trip because I got BOGOF vouchers for tickets in June which means DH and I can go together.
DD flying to UK tonight for a long weekend, will have a nice lunch tomorrow and catch up.

Good morning from an a rather uncertain (weather-wise) South coast. I have a large wash in the machine, so hope it brightens later on. A visit to the tip this a.m. to off-load some garden rubbish - spend hours and days nurturing it, then cut it back and dump it! Envious of your fox-gloves Brenda keep meaning to plant some, then realise I don't really have the space. I am sure our bumble bees would appreciate them. Good luck again Gaga with your performance tonight, I expect you will be exhausted but pleased at the end. Enjoy your days.

Morning all.

A damp cloudy start in N.Kent. I think the middle and the end will be the same smile
Another day of childcare.

Is Ppppping it down here as well. East Sussex has had enough rain. I have weeds growing at a great rate and it's too wet to do anything about it. The foxgloves are however the best I have ever seen them. They are huge. Make great shelter for the bumble bees!

Morning! It's Pppping down here, just what we need not
It's all down to my new garden furniture hmm

I'm going to my first 70th birthday lunch of the week (another on Saturday). Looks like all my friends are getting on a bit!

Morning All! It's breezy and cloudy here in SE Hampshire but the forecast does not show any rain. Tonight is the second (and final) 1940s Concert my choir are doing so I shall be getting into my "Mrs Pike" outfit once more. It has been huge fun and the audiences have joined in the community singing with gusto. All profits are going to the Red Cross and SSAFA. sunshine
