Good Morning Sunday

Just had the grandchildren for the past 24 hours; think I'm going to sleep for the next 24.....storms threatening all the time here; went to the playground yesterday and there was blue sky ahead of us and black sky behind.

Roderick's finger gets stuck on his enter key, I think!

A nice warm sunny and cloudy day by turns, and supposedly half-term, but DBH (teacher) is having to take 30 kids to an athletics league event in Ipswich all day, so I am a bit fed up because he is shattered and has a vile cold, and I am the one who will have to be nice to him when he gets home... By the time he is human again, he will be back at school!

So I shall pootle around, cook a nice evening meal, catch up with family.

Good morning!

We have scuddy clouds too and it poured with rain over night. Deep joy as the hall has developed a leak which is tracking from heaven knows where! I don't know whether I've posted this before but, just after we moved here, the hall roof was like a sieve and we regularly had an array of buckets etc catching drips. One day I answered the door to someone collecting charity envelopes - for water for Africa! She didn't even smile when I offered her actual water from the buckets in my hall! Well, I thought it was funny!

Bright sunshine and a stiff breeze here. Could have done with this yesterday -- our farm walk was called off as it was too soggy!

Well done, Gaga. The sun is shining here. I am just going to make myself another cup of coffee, sit outside to read the morning paper and later get tarted up to go out for lunch with friends.

Good morning from a bright and sunny start to the day on the south coast. We are off to Amberley Museum with our son, who loves to visit there, he is well known, and we shall have lunch in the restaurant, another simple pleasure he enjoys. Had a lovely afternoon in the garden yesterday, and it is looking better for it's tidy-up.
Well done Gaga, praise from DH indeed! Enjoy your days.

Good morning all! Woke at 4.30 with last night's concert still re-playing in my head. Wish I had an "off" button for my brain. I was up with a cup of tea by 4.45.

It went really well with all tickets sold and people queuing to pay at the door! Best performance we've done and profits are going to the SSAFA and Red Cross. It's the second performance on Wednesday, in a neighbouring village, so I hope we can do it as well as we did last night. DH said he was very proud of me. (I had a solo spot) A rare compliment!
