I was cycling along and was overtaken by a young man driving a snazzy red open top sports car. It was a left hand drive. Sitting up in the right hand seat, ears flapping madly in the wind, was a huge old English sheepdog.
It looked exactly as if the dog was driving the car.
I nearly fell off my bike, I was laughing so much.
Funny thing ever happened to you?

Yesterday I went to get my boots out of the cupboard and realised that the last time I wore them I must have been wearing odd boots. I have two black pairs but they have different height heels and different buckles as decoration. How come I did not notice when I was walking ? blush

Dressed smartly to go down town I noticed when passing my neighbour's house that I was still wearing my slippers - what a plonker !!

NanKate I've done that. DH had an appointment with a solicitor about a property we were buying. We parked by the office and as I got out of the car I realised I was still wearing my slippers!! Fortunately they were plain blue so it wasn't too obvious!

My sister-in-law arrived at the church for her daughter`s wedding dressed up to the nines, then someone whispered to her that she was wearing her slippers! Luckily they only lived about a hundred yards from the church, so she rushed back home to change into her lovely stiletto heels.

I went to a local motorbike meet, one bike had a large sidecar in the form of a large white box. The two bikers opened the box and out stepped an immaculate white standard poodle!

My nephew turned up at church in his Wedding Suit which looked about 6 sizes too big for him. He was followed by his father (a good 6 stone heavier) squeezed into the son's jacket. He looked like a posh version of Norman Wisdom minus the flat cap.

Rose mentioned sidecars. It reminded me of the time I was in a boyfriends sidecar and it parted company with the bike.
This was obviously pre MOT days. Fortunately it happened in the country and I only landed in a ditch. I laughed at the time and still do now.

DS's best man thought that shoes were supplied with the dress hire. He was wrong. Fortunately the trainers he was wearing were black. grin

My brother had to host a dinner for employees at a hotel, when dressing for dinner he found his wife (!) had forgotten to pack his shoes. He had to attend the dinner wearing his trainers!! It certainly helped to break the ice!

When we first came to the island to live, we were having our house built and decided to open a bank account at a local branch.
Buildings here are not always what they seem, like shops don't often have windows because of the weather.
We drove into the car park and went into the building, we were most impressed, comfy seats and plants, we sat down and waited, after a while a charming lady came in, she sat down and started to discuss the weather, after a while she asked if she could help us, by this time it was dawning on us something was not quite right, we were only sitting in her hallway.
We were very red faced, she pointed out the bank which was next door

Many many years ago (like 40) we lived in Singapore and my usual foot ware was nothing!! I had to go into Singapore city, so jumped into the car and when I got to the car park, I realised I had no shoes on, so had to walk barefoot to the nearest place to yet another pair of flip-flops. I felt a real idiot especially with all the strange looks I got!!

After spending the morning at work I had a dentist appointment and it was only when I was in the chair and my feet raised that I saw I had on one blue shoe and one green shoe. (Shoes live under the stairs and it is a bit dark!)
