Good morning Mick. Good morning Everybody. A beautiful morning. We had hoped to go out on the river with friends but the weather forecast was so awful. Now DH has a tummy bug so it looks like we're not going anywhere!

Rather cloudy in the Thames Valley today.

Yuk. There is a north easterly wind blasting down the Menai Straits. Its a rare event to see whitecaps as it is normally very sheltered (from all other wind directions).
Just started to pour.

Got up at 6:30am (which I don't normally do) because a company which I do some casual merchandising work for had posted on their website that there would be a job available from 7am today. So when I was showered, dressed, and had made my first cup of coffee I read the website again - and realised that I mis-read it yesterday, the job is from 7am on the 26th <<SIGH>>

Oh well - not worth going back to bed. Might as well make another cup of coffee.

Good morning, wet here today. I had hoped it wouldn't be as I move from holiday cottage to house sit. Loads to pack in the car, if it will all go in so I'm going to arrive at the other end with soggy wet things. The weather was just the same when I moved in here a month ago.

Bright, sunny but a stiff breeze here in N. Kent. We have youngest DGS this afternoon and collect eldest from school. Hope we miss the showers.

Good morning all, what a shame Sewsilver, I hate soggy things when moving around - reminds me of our camping holidays! Perhaps the weather will improve for you. It is overcast and windy here, and certainly colder than of late, but promises of nice weekend, so looking forward to that. Enjoy your days

Good? morning everyone, it's damp, dull and a bit windy here. I don't mind really, I'm taking my friend out for lunch.
It's her first outing since her mastectomy (apart from hospital visits!) and she's looking forward to it.

Morning each - very damp here from the storms of yesterday but looking brighter. Off to golf with DH today - no comp just lovely family golf (we give each other some shots not the alcoholic kind until after the game. Dinner all ready - chicken stir fry so that's easy and hopefully something funny on TV to round off the day.

Not actually raining here (I think). Waiting for gardener who may arrive but I have thought that on three days already this week (sigh)

Cold, windy and grey in S Staffs. Quiet day for me today after a busy week. Might even catch up on some housework. Or might not....

Brisk chilly wind and lots of clouds here in SE Hampshire. Going to visit a Roman Palace ruins this morning then a pub lunch with DH. Nice treat.

Gardener has a sick bug. Monday, I hope.
Spending time trying to find advice re my neighbours. (See 'That house next door' thread.)
Have now to think about sister's birthday tomorrow and wrap stuff, get a card etc....going out to lunch whee!
