Cloudy, grey but warm in East Sussex. Not doing much this weekend as ribs still sore. Next weekend is the local agricultural show so we will have lots of visitors who want to park their cars and have a bite to eat.

Good morning all, bit overcast earlier but the sun's come out again now. Hope it's here to stay.

DH has got shingles again, he had it at least 3 times last year and had the vaccination last Autumn. At least this time he seen a doctor early enough to give the anti viral tablets a chance to work properly.

I am off to a singing day organised by a local choir Not quite sure why, as it's all Handel anthems. 100 versions of ways to sing Alleluia Amen. I think Handel got paid by the word and stuffed all the Alleluia Amens in to boost his fees.
Enjoy the weather all, it's not really a day to be stuck in a school hall but its all paid for now.

The sun is peeping out here. Luckily I live far enough away from Wembley not to be affecred by crowd noise etc.

My car was towed by the RAC to a garage for the second time this week. Nobody knows the cause, so I am housebound. Luckily I have good neighbours, I am a hoarder so I have plenty of food.

Another beautiful start to the day so why am I going shopping for clothes for my niece's wedding - for both me and mum ?

I went to see mum yesterday having been expecting her to die last weekend. She was answering questions on 'The Link' - correctly!

Oh dear what a day ahead. DH has the first weekend off for a while and we were planning a day in the garden just pottering around with a BBQ for two later on. Sadly my mums dialysis failed yesterday as the shunt in her arm has stopped working. I am taking her into hospital this morning for an emergency operation to try and fix it, so all plans out of the window.

Never mind. What can you do?
