On the way home from the garden centre today, I spotted several men in high viz jackets standing around and staring into a large hole in someone's garden, there was head scratching and pointing involved too.
Parked just a few yards away there was 6 vans with one of the large energy companies logo on the side! Do they all have BO or something??? Can they not share a van
It shows where some of our exorbitant fuel charges go.
My ex husband used to work for the, then, GPO. He spent a lot of time standing around scratching his head and sorting out wires (he was colour blind) He did the same when I asked for a divorce

Why the heck couldn't I remember that title, it couldn't have been much simpler. Same wave length. 
The town nearby to us is built on a massive sunken glacial bed. I just hope that doesn't disappear along with my best friend and son who works in the town. .
It's a bit disconcerting to think of what is actually undereath our houses isn't it?We are always hoping to strike gold, whenever we dig a new flowerbed.Our house is built on what used to be the centre of the old medieval village, then it was cleared and became the garden/stable yard of a large Georgian mansion, then in the 1940's it became a small USA camp[for airmen].Finally built on in the early 1960's as a small close of houses.So far, we have found a huge amount of concrete [from the USA base days] and one very old horseshoe.
