I'm waiting for my neighbour to hoist a flag as he does every year on this date. I've never understood why he leaves it there until it's in tatters and finally removes it about October confused

I fully agreed with this article.

Part of me wishes that we celebrated the day more. But most of me is relieved, because it's too close to Easter and Mother's day.
