Good morning all. Bright and calm in East Sussex. What a lot of rain yesterday until about tea time when it brightened up. Elder daughter and two GC go home today. Been a good week but will be pleased to have the house to ourselves again.

The Sun has just broken through here Brackley.

Good morning, sunny and mist today, beautiful. Hard to believe I only have 4 more days weakening to this glorious view. Today I have to prepare mountains of my stuff for storage. Eeek!

Good morning everyone. Sunny in Somerset at the moment but forecast not good so we shall see.

Good morning all, lovely morning here after the much welcomed rain yesterday. Not a lot planned, except a delivery of groceries from Sainsbury, since the other half is still recovering from his hernia op. Enjoy your days.

Good morning all!

Dull and overcast today in North Leicestershire, just the day for tackling the blasted wild garlic which looks so pretty but is swamping everything else in that particular bed!

Enjoy your days everyone sunshine

Good morning from Malta. A bit cloudy and we had that dirty rain last night so everything is covered in red muck.

Happy Birthday to HM the Queen who turns 88 today.

Have a good day everyone sunshine

Beautiful clear skies and sunshine here in Colchester. Such a contrast to yesterday.

Happy Birthday to the Queen, she's giving everyone a day off to celebrate tbuwink

Morning all.
It seems N.Kent got of lightly yesterday. We had a few showers but not as bad as some of you.
It's a bright morning DH and I have just had the 'What are we going to do today' conversation. The conclusion being, not a lot !

Good morning from Cheshire. Sunny with high clouds here.

Right now I am having a brew and gathering my courage for the job of the day.
At something indecent o'clock this morning I went for a pee and an enormous spider crossed the bath room floor. I grabbed a small tray and dropped it over the spider to stop it moving any further. Small tray and spider are still right in front of the toilet bowl, it took some manoeuvring to get on there this morning.

When I feel strong enough I will slide some card under the tray and remove the offending arachnid.

Morning all and Mick.

Hope the rain holds off as we are going for a walk this morning.

Sunny again in Thames Valley.

Supposed to be working on greenhouse with gardener, touch wood he said today was a normal day for him so hope he turns up - I need my greenhouse with a roof!

Have not broken my Easter Egg yet but working on the choc bar that came too.

Good morning from Northumberland, cant believe weve had over a week of sunshine and todays bright n sunny too, still cold mind but cant have everything. Might go for a drive over the cheviots (my favourite place on earth), later. Hope you are all having a lovely easter.

Dry and bright in Staffs after a lot of heavy rain, which has softened the soil enough for me to dig a shallow trench to put some border log roll along one edge of the lawn. A job long overdue for completing, like so many other jobs on my list.

annodomini Mon 21-Apr-14 10:02:58

Big bags of compost are crying out to me for action. Thinking hard about it. tbugrin

Dragonfly1 Mon 21-Apr-14 10:04:50

As hard as I'm thinking about log roll, Anno?

AlieOxon Mon 21-Apr-14 10:32:30

....and as hard as I'm thinking about the greenhouse?

Nelliemoser Mon 21-Apr-14 10:51:51

Off to split up the huge Clivia plant in my living room. it has two large offshoots it needs re-potting asap. Then lots more gardening, but only when the scones are cooked.

AlieOxon Mon 21-Apr-14 17:34:53

I've got a greenhouse roof! We just managed to finish it before shopping - then the heavens opened....we are now on the second thunderstorm.
