Nonu Isn't he just a poppet has cheeks you could just want to eat.Reminds me of the fat cheeks on my boys.smile

He cannot have been in contact with many babies his age so he was enjoying every minute of it. He does appear to be advanced for 8 1/2 months.

Glam mine too, love chubby babies !!

Not sure how you can tell "he looks advanced" from a newspaper/online photo Charleygirl ?

Sorry to see this from the "another" angle but I wonder if he has ever met babies of around his own age in this country? Haven't seen the photos in the press thats all. hmm

I'm sure there are other babies in the family, gillybob (both the Royal and the non-Royal one!). Plus friends who have babies.

gillybob Wed 09-Apr-14 11:28:44

I am not so sure Ana . The point I was trying to make is that the press are making a huge thing of him "meeting babies born around his own age" and I wondered if this had ever happened in this country. I didn't mean had he ever met a distant cousin or whoever. Sorry badly worded post (as usual) smile

Having said that when my son was born there were no babies in our family and hadn't been for many years and given that I was just 18 I didn't have any friends with babies either.

Same when my daughter was born, when I think back! (I wasn't 18 but I seemed to be out of step with friends who'd either had theirs years before or hadn't had any yet).

gillybob I saw the video on the news this morning, I was not just looking at photos! He appeared to be quite strong and trying to stand.

gillybob Wed 09-Apr-14 12:51:05

Oh well I guess he is super human afterall Charleygirl but aren't most babies trying to stand at that age? confused

My DGD2 was walking at just over nine months so maybe he is behind with his development? I dont know.

Ana Wed 09-Apr-14 13:07:55

DD was well over a year old before she'd even try to stand. She's very good at walking now, though...wink
