Good Morning Sunday

Good morning afternoon, slipped past noon while I was reading previous posts. It is very foggy and I am not looking forward to the drive to DS's. GD is still feeling poorly after her drenching on Friday so it will be an indoor day today.

The makings of a sunny day here in North Leicestershire.

I've already spoken to DD2 and opened her present of a book by an author we both enjoy. It's now a tradition as the author somehow always manages to write a new one around this time. It will be donated to DD in due course.

While I was still in the shower, DD3 and two DGC arrived with super duper gluten free puddings she had sourced and a giant GF cup cake decorated with pink and purple roses. I've also had a scarf from DD1. DS1 is coming for lunch and DS2 may appear at sometime!

Woken up by a hammering on the door at 9:30, delivery of flowers from No. 2 son.....

Yes, it's a haar Marelli rolling off the sea up the hill and into my front door!! Yet another grotty, cold, miserable day. I woke up at 5 to 10 - couldn't believe it. Even with the clock change, that was going something........ Have spoken to 2 DDs and opened a present - a mini teapot and a packet of posh tea (make yer own Mum)

Dreich weather here in Fife. All foggy with a high (according to local radio) of 7 degrees. Must be a haar off the sea.

Good morning all. Woke late this morning to find DH already up and in the garden. Clocks all said 9.10 so I thought it must be 10.10 and our DS is coming early today to help with the boat. Panic! Eventually darling DH admitted he had already put all the clocks forward!

Of course now our DS is late.

Beautiful warm and sunny day here in Normandy. I am doing my best to have a Happy Mother's Day, without seeing my children for the umpteenth year running.. It is a bit of a double whammy as Mother's Day here is in June and everyone turns up then for big family lunches.

Good morning all on Mothers Day. In East Sussex there is high cloud but no wind.
Not doing much today. Having one of our butchers Steak and Kidney puddings today. They are delicious and much better than I could, or want to make.

Good morning from a once again bright and breezy south coast, and happy Mothering Sunday to you all. Had a lovely meal yesterday with our old friends, and caught up with our daughter which was even better. Off today to do a little volunteering at Amberley Museum, special day there, so thank goodness it is not raining. Enjoy your days everyone.
