Hope today starts off better for you, Soutra. Most mornings I wake up with a 'fearful' feeling - much like DebnCreme, but that's merely a bad habit of mine, and one that is difficult to change (especially first thing in the morning). Sometimes, it's a good thing to have something to focus on (cleaning ?....er, well, perhaps not blush) but just deciding to go somewhere that day - and going, does make a bit of a difference for me.

I throw myself into cleaning when in that mood - just off to do battle right now. I tend to throw things about and shout - it helps considerably. Hope you are feeling in better sorts today Soutra?

I head for the greenhouse with my little portable radio. DH is SO noisy it makes any grumpy mood far worse.

Hope you have sunshine today, Soutra. It always helps.

Hope you feel better soon. Is there an underlying issue which is causing this?

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 29-Mar-14 08:28:30

You could have a cold coming. Being a bit out of sorts can make you feel like that.

Hope it's just a passing mood though. smile

DebnCreme Sat 29-Mar-14 08:21:15

Sorry Soutra I forgot to say I hope your day improves brew

DebnCreme Sat 29-Mar-14 08:19:15

Happens to me quite regularly and then don't want to get up at all and it is a struggle throughout the day. Also find I can wake up feeling scared for no apparent reason.

Are you talking about waking up and the only things that you can think of are the irritations of life? I feel like that this morning - nothing major wrong but nothing is completely 'right'. I've felt like it for about the past week and I want it to stop!

I hope you feel better soon soutra flowers. I have always snapped out of it fairly quickly!

There was a morning in May a couple of years ago when I woke up and Mr absent cheerfully said "Happy Birthday, to which I responded, "No, it isn't". Oh dear! blush

Soutra Fri 28-Mar-14 23:44:44

No - no Snow white jokes about letting him have an extra half hour! I mean when you just wake up in a mood irritated by the slightest thing and it just doesn't lift! Paast being hormonal and slept well enough. Anybody else been there? How do you "snap" out of it?
