Good morning, as Kitty says, lovely day here in Derbyshire SO FAR. It's definitely Spring, birds singing and buds on everything.

Off to Essex today to see DGD2 take her first major role as Lucy in The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. Hope the M25 is in a good mood today and doesn't decide to hold us up! Happy days everyone!

Good morning everyone, overcast here and on the chilly side, but I am amazed at how green some of the bushes and trees have suddenly become, the few days sunshine we had has done everything the world of good. My grandson was performing (dancing) at Southampton (University)yesterday, and his dad was watching - he was much against his son learning to dance, and I am just wondering what his reaction is going to be. My grandson does this as a hobby, and although very shy when younger thoroughly enjoyed being involved in the theatre. It is a funny old world.

Morning all. Lovely day in North Yorkshire. I shall be spending the day in next doors garden clearing more land of brambles, ground elder, convolvulus and lots of other lovely weeds. It really is one of my best occupations !!

Am going to plant the pansies bought yesterday , am undecided to follow Monty"s advice of taking off all flowering heads , seems such a shame .
