Hello Holly, I'm fairly new to GN, so I know how you feel about joining in! The first thing you'll learn is that it's very friendly, the second thing is that you'll never have a tidy house/garden, get the washing done, get the cleaning done, have time for anything other than microwave meals etc, as GN is SO addictive - especially the 'Daft Games' . Welcome to the madhouse

I love adding threads but I do feel on occasions I stir up a few arguments, which is not my intention.

Welcome Holly, I wish I had introduced myself like you - I've always felt like a bit of an intruder and I seem to often kill a thread which makes me feel a bit unlikable! But I'm sure that is paranoia on my part. Enjoy a happy supportive time on Gransnet

Hi there HollyDaze. I joined GN 3 months ago and I have gone from a newbie to an addict ! Having said that I have joined in some really interesting conversations.

My recommendation is that when you log on tomorrow you go to 'Good morning Sunday' there you should find that Mick has started the ball rolling by telling us the weather in Brackley. From then on lots of the usual Gransnetters tell us all what the weather is in their part of the country and perhaps what they are up to that day. Then it's up to you which Forum you continue with.
