My knitting in a plastic waste paper bin, long designated for holding my knitting. The remote control. A pattern on the table, some curved sewing needles. Some pink yarn which has nowt to do with the knitting that I am working on right now. A knitting needle bag with all my needles.

It is highly unusual not to find any half empty mugs of tea about. I was obviously feeling good when I cleared up last night.
That is quite good by my usual standards.

I love GN! It lets you know that you are not alone in living in a home that is less than show home tidy. grin

Tissues, post it notes, empty tea mug, phone, three pencils, one ballpoint, binoculars, plate, stapler, paracetamol, inhaler, spiral notebook, Hotter catalogue, kindle, laptop, remote controls, two bottles of nail polish, a letter opener, nail clippers. From all of which you will gather that I am not a tidy woman… but I am honest!

My 16 month old GS. smile

Elegran Fri 31-Jan-14 13:06:31

Do you mean the chair in here at the pooter or the comfy one opposite the TV? There is a different pile of junk collection of useful things in each room, all absolutely essential.

Lots of tissues, as I have the most disgusting cold (picked up in the UK last week, thanks (: )... our daughter's dachshund snoring away (we've had to adopt him temporarily), our dog Gatsby, 2 separate knitting samples, as I am practising fancy stitches, and the finished curly wurly scarf and headband that both need ends finishing, today's local paper and a Sicily holiday guide.

A lovely day outside but I'm stuck in with that dreadful cold, grrrrrr.

harrigran Fri 31-Jan-14 12:56:58

Absolutely nothing by my chair smile

Brendawymms Fri 31-Jan-14 12:53:00

A straw box in which I keep all my leads and adapters. Knitting and a few books. That's to the left. To the right it's pencils, a nail file and some scissors.

I thought this was "My grandma's shopping list"!!
I have half a mug of cold coffee,
my kindle recharging plugged into the laptop,
a recipe from last weeks DT magazine to check the ingredients for my shopping order,
a dead cheque book,
a pencil and the unfinished crossword as it is too d*mn hard.
Oh and a sleeping greyhound who is only occasionally farting.

I do wish I could say:
my embroidery silks,
a porcelain cup (and saucer) of Earl Grey
and a bowl of fragrant pot pourri

but I would be lying.

gillybob Fri 31-Jan-14 12:36:32

From memory (as I am "at work" ha ha)

My glasses.
Caravan magazine.
Slippers
Fleece Blankie.
Probably my tea mug from this morning.
My grandmas shopping last (aaaaahg) (damnation) (Grrrrrr) (sh*t) Which means I will have to go home and get it !
