I've never known thunder, lightening and hail before this winter. On Saturday, watching the racing we saw the storm work it's way round the country; I think it took about half an hour to get from Derby to Cheltenham. Spoke to someone in Newmarket who'd had the storm earlier. What's going on weather wise ? Same thing happened a few weeks ago, because the thunder woke me up in the early hours and then I was surprised to see the hailstones coming down.
Dry here in South Wales - bitterly cold though. Hopefully the wind has died down which means that I can move the wheely-bins back into their proper place and not worry about them disappearing down the road.
When I woke at 6am it was pouring but it is now just grey, overcast and quite cold. I'd rather have some weather than the nothingness we seem to getting most of the time! [blue]
I will spend today sorting my desk out - honestly!
I'm glad Printmiss is ok but I miss her posts on this thread
Mornin' all. Lovely bright morning - AND - I have the council working on the house next door! At last, after 15 months hassling, that garden is being sorted out.....
Grey and cold in N-W London as usual. I would love to open the curtains to a sunny blue sky. Off to my painting class and then hospital visit with husband.
