My now 18 year old grandson used to ask for a kiddle and a cuss as a toddler. We use this expression to all our grandchildren when asking for a kiss and a cuddle.

4 year old granddaughters call animals aminals and we all say it. I eat branflakes for breakfast and they thought they,d try some and now call them Granflakes.

DD1 used to call an envelope an envelbloke. And when DS said DGD1 (age 5) didn't seem excited about their forthcoming holiday she said "I'm excited in my head!"

grin we still refer to cucumber as coocoobecki, elephants are e-ants even though our sons are both in their thirties. DGS2 calls the garage 'the car house'

My DGS was sent to wash his hands, his Mum on checking he had washed them said what did you use to wash them , Ekylapticus he said.... it was Eucalyptus, so it will never be called Eucalyptus again in this house grin

My 4yr DGS said to his mum today " Nans do knitting don't they Mum? but Gran (me) doesn't knit so that's why she's called Gran, isn't that right Mum?" smile
