This is now open for cakes and coffee and hot buttered toast. I am donating the new batch of marmalade. Enjoy.

Very sorry to hear you are suffering soop. Have you got any soothing cream you can put on your sore bits? Don't forget to drink lots of fluids and I do hope you will soon be feeling much better flowers

DebnCreme Sun 09-Mar-14 14:00:23

Hope you soon feel better soop

Lona Sun 09-Mar-14 13:55:46

'bathroom'! blush not suggesting you're 'batty' soop! grin

Lona Sun 09-Mar-14 13:54:51

Take care rushing to the batroom soop, we don't want you doing an "OGM" flowers

OGM You take it easy as well flowers

soop Sun 09-Mar-14 13:35:30

Just popped in to say...I'm a lot worse. Will take to my bed for a wee while. MacSporran and I ate the same food yesterday. He's fine. I need the bathroom every 10mins or so. Can hardly sit down, I'm so sore.

Enjoy your day...and don't get into too much mischief. wink

Back when I've recovered. flowers to you all.

Great news ffinnochio - congratulations flowers
Get well soon soop - perhaps all that yelling and shouting brought on the cramps?wink
I have just returned from a long walk - got the bus to the next village and walked back through the woods and along the coastal path. I am absolutely soaking (no, it didn't rain!) so off for a shower and then a soak in the bath before going out to a late lunch which I know will involve quite a lot of wine

ffinnochio Sun 09-Mar-14 13:08:32

Get well soon, soop

Charleygirl Sun 09-Mar-14 12:54:09

soop I do hope that you are feeling better after a hot shower. I am assuming that MacSporran ate the same food as yourself yesterday and he is okay so you have not got mild food poisoning?

ffinnochio that is wonderful news.

OGM may I suggest that you stay indoors but be careful that you do not trip over a hoover lead or a cat if you have one!

DebnCreme Sun 09-Mar-14 12:46:18

ffinnochio that is wonderful news. Take great care OGM you have to be well for Tuesday. flowers

soop Sun 09-Mar-14 12:23:24

OGM What are you like? Lovely is what. smile And you must take better care of yourself. Tangled up in a hosepipe shock hmm whatever next. flowers

You are so right. Our Granspals are very precious.

I shall not linger too long. Awakened at 3am with griping pains in my tum. Visited the bathroom so often that I feel woolly legged...and have a sore bot. MacSporran if fine. He suggested that I stay in bed, but after an hour I needed to shower and get myself sorted. Does anyone know if a bug is doing the rounds?

Watched Six Nations. Yelled and willed Scotland to win the game. They played exceedingly well. So near...and yet so far...

I shall return later. Please look after OGM ...brew

Hobbling in after getting tangled up in a hosepipe on Friday (Casualty bandaged and donated crutches!)
Own fault as ignored ache and went shopping and cooked dinner then wondered why pain had increased and couldn't put foot to floor! Hence late evening trip to hosp.
Rest and frozen peas seem to be working! They must as Cheltenham tickets already bought for Tues. (Lovely Galen has offered alternative treansport to Shank's pony.... a motorized wheelchair.)
Proof yet again that our Granspals are worth their weight in gold.
Just settling back on the chaise, foot elevated, of course.
Lovely news Ffinochio

Just popping by with some bottles of fizz for you all to help me celebrate the birth of our new grandchild, who was born last night. A lovely little girl named Veida.sunshine

Smashing to have a granchild living much closer - this side of the Atlantic! smile

soop Sat 08-Mar-14 15:00:42

Lona I agree with Nonu your pretty granddaughter is a lot like you. I love her bunches. smile

Bellasnana That's such good news. Mr Bella is a good man. I'm pleased to hear that you have sunshine As I type this message, the sun is breaking through and shining on a cam sea. My goodness, it is a cheerful sight.

I've done very little today. I shall tune in to the game at 4.40. I shall shout a lot. MacSporran will be tiddling in the garden with Rory close by. Every so often he'll tap on the window and mouth...what's the score?

About to make a brew and nibble daintily on a choc ginger biscuit.

We shall soon be needing an extra extension on the kitchen. Doesn't time fly when you're having fun. grin
