I have obviously been to Anstruther in my youth Agus but we went to the local fish and chip shop in Cupar. I used to have white pudding and chips, nothing else.

OK Charley. On the odd occasion we have a fish supper, DH always has a black pudding supper with a jar of mussels. Not something we eat a lot but sometimes, it just hits the spot. Yum, especially if we have this at the Anstruther Fish Bar which you might know being a Fifer

Galen, I grew up in Wednesbury! Both black and white pudding were a staple food! I prefer black if I'm honest. With raw onion. Mmm.

Thank you Agus what a kind thought. I remember the white pudding and chips I had as a child/teenager and we bought it from the local fish and chip shop where we lived in Fife. I am going back around 55 years years!

I am happy with Waitrose black pudding supplied by the Mc Sweens in Edinburgh.

I was vacuuming, knocked one of the boxes full of
rubbish stuff from the study down all around me, DH yelling from the back door, front doorbell ringing.
It turns out he was shouting to me because I had accidentally turned the gas on when I was cleaning the hob and he said I could have blown the house up.
That would have been such a waste of the time he spent decorating.
