It's been a strange day. Apart from worrying about the whereabouts of Greatnan I've not been very productive. The weather is behaving in an unsettled fashion. Inky clouds, Lashing rain. The promise of a brighter sky. Please keep coming to the kitchen. I would miss the company of you lot if you stayed away.

Up early as we are going to the Norfolk coast for a couple of days - hope we can get a connection to keep up to date.

Are you others feeling as deflated as I am tonight? I really thought this weekend would bring a result and yet here we are one week on and despite incredible efforts and achievements by so many people - still no news. I am so reluctant to switch off and go to bed but none of the Carol threads are getting any new posts so there is presumably nothing new to learn. 
Just popped in to soop's world and had a look at your wonderful photographs. What a lovely family, beautiful home and your settee is amazing. I hope you don't mind but I couldn't resist and now I feel relaxed..please can I move in ?

We enjoyed a delicious light lunch with wine. I'm a tad tipsy. We see that there is plenty of delicious food and the Champagne is ready to be shared...so, Slainte! The weather today has been mixed. Sunshine, rain and a hailstorm. 
Now it's blustery but dry again. Gorgeous clouds!
I know that you're all longing to see pics of the sofa. I'm about to add them to the album. Also, especially for the ladies, a photo of the birthday boy.
