air show

Love the red arrows and what a great free show. I think it will be very busy on Sunday but this is the first time show has been on Monday too

DGS2 and I came out f Sainbury's yesterday to the sight of the Dreamliner and the RR owned Spitfire flying overhead. Apparently they were doing a flypast over Rolls Royce (Derby).

I confounded all the men asking what it was by knowing all about it. I knew there was a benefit to watching local news!

I have a soft spot for Rolls Royce as my Dad worked for them for years and then went to work for a company who supplied nosal (brains gone dead - how do you spell nosal guide veins to them. He was one of the first people I ever heard of to be head-hunted (although it wasn't called that in the 60s!)

We have the red arrows tomorrow I think. It's the Bristol ballon fiesta

We had the air show weekend before last but I didn't go to the seafront, I watched it live on youtube via facebook.

Thanks for that seasider we live not too far away so will tell DD,youngest DGS is facinated with aeroplanes and it would make his day.
