Happy in his work.

There's a woman in a local supermarket here who does the same but its not such a pleasure for the rest of us! Still, nice that she's happy in her job!

That's lovely, ginny. We so rarely hear people spontaneously singing, humming or whistling tunes nowadays.

And as we know now, those who do warble are keeping their voices in shape! . I think we need a music note emoticon.

I have a compulsion to hum/sing etc. and often don't realise I'm doing it until someone makes a comment. Thus far, in spite of my limited musical ability, all the comments are cheerful ones.

When DH was a farm manager he rarely got a chance to drive the 'big boy's toys' unless he was covering breaks during harvest. He has a strong baritone voice and you could hear him singing over the loudest of engines....it's not quite the same in a landrover.
