Didn't know about the Liverpool docker, thought I was just a bit of a clever clogs to think up a funny name with a double meaning. That's my bubble well and truly burst Greatnan. Do we need to start a new thread about names.....!

Thistledoo was a Liverpool docker, who was known, in the days before containers, to 'find' the odd bit of cargo and say 'Thistledoforourkid'.

Not sure what you meant, BAGS and SOOP, saying my forum name with a soft th, when I dreamed it up I was at a loss at what to call myself, when I came up with [this will do] which turned into the Scottish thistle with a dooooo. xx

Lovely day here in West London have put my washing out and I am off to my health club to do 20 lengths in the pool. Hope it stays like this and then I can put another load of washing out and make up for all those dreary days when it has been hanging around the house.
