Heard an horrific item on the Today programme this morning. A little eleven year old boy had been persuaded by his mates to watch a nasty video by his friends. He was really affected by it. Very upset. I think this sounds so worrying. Apparently there are some horrible "moving images" videos out there that the children are getting hold of.
The children's commissioner is hoping to persuade the government to include warnings about this in school sex education. But meanwhile they are advising parents to speak to their children before they can come in contact with this.
I feel quite worried. Dgs 1 starts secondary school in September and I am sure he will want a mobile phone.
