It has now gone a little dull in Northumberland after a lovely morning - I am still removing the weeds and dirts from between the cracks on the patio - off to pour/sweep sand into them this afternoon. Just the path to do then. Think DH is going to paint a fence, too.
I'm not painting the whole fence; just the bit of wood that goes across the middle [I rubbed it down the other day in preparation]. No, j; I suppose someone that takes great delight in the installation of a new washing line isn't a fun person but I could get the kids old face paints out [I'm sure they're in a drawer somewhere] and do a bit a face art to liven things up. Although not sure what goes with fence painting . A flower, perhaps? The neighbours will assume I really have finally gone over the edge..
Sunshine here means fence painting day as it's going to rain later in the week but also must find some washing to do so's I can use my new washing line . I'm sure the novelty will wear off and I'll soon be snowed under mounds of washing as per usual...
Beautiful day in Oxfordshire too. Family BBQ today for oldest granddaughter's 19th birthday, when I will at last be able to read Oh No George with the two little ones, who will be visiting.
another lovely day in Dorset - have spent a lot of time in my garden and have caught the sun - also went into the New Forest to see the bluebells - we know a secret spot so we don't bump into loads of 'grockles'.
Soft and grey and mild here. DH is ill. I know this because usually he needs to leave the house at 0730 and gets up at 0725. This morning he had to leave at 0650 but got up at 0600. Worrying
Good morning all , lovely and sunny here , too nice to have a layin , also the fact that I am off on holiday a week tommorrow , is makin" me rarin" to go .
