Richard Briers

GD said to me this evening, " I am very sorry to hear that this nice actor has died, I loved him as Smee in Peter Pan " I thought this was rather touching from a 7 year old.

Me to.

I'm quite happy to do that, or if that can't be done just delete mine.

Couldn't we merge the two threads which seem to have been started simultaneously? Geraldine? Cari?

We seem to have two threads going for Richard Briers - I wonder if GNHQ can amalgamate them into one?

He was 79
Many years ago I would have said that was a good age - strange how your perception changes - I now think that 79 is quite young

He was a lovely man. Very sad that he's gone.

that is very sad ,

Oh that's so sad

Just seen this too and very sad to hear it. I loved his "Good Life" but he was a fine stage actor too.
