My DH and I are flying to Manchester on the 19th for an English Christmas with the family. We return here with some of the family on the 28th for an Italian new year!!

Greatnan I can promise you that the Airport will be open! The weather here is not bad at all and should be milder by the end of the week.

I was very glad of my little Panda 4 x 4 this morning - it cut through about a foot of snow on the car park and up the steep slope to the road, which had been gritted. Now I just need to drive the 120 miles to Juragran's house on Wednesday but it is motorway most of the way. She and her lovely OH are going to take me to Geneva airport on Saturday, and they will look after my car while I am away. I just hope Manchester airport is not closed!

I will be away too from 14th Dec to 3rd January, but will be thinking about Gnetters and hope you all enjoy peace and goodwill, especially those for whom Christmas is a difficult time.

I will try to find a suitable one!
