You were all correct - you have had the second wettest summer since records began in 1910. It has been a good summer here . Ironically, it was the lack of snow in previous years which caused problems for the ski industry, but last season was good. I like the snow here - it is different from snow in towns.

I've enjoyed this summer. The mixture of sun and rain has made my garden bloom. I love the garden smell after rain. That mixture of damp soil and flower fragance and the clean sensation. Everything seems brighter. Flowers seem to smile.

I have to admit I don't particularly enjoy being too hot or sunbathing so a cooler summer suits me.
