My good oneJeni the one that says that I am an upright(sometimes) pillar of GN and the virtual community.[ grin]

What reputation?

think we need another party glass I don't have falling down shenanigans, but if I do you will be first on my list [ can see my reputation slowly disintegrating here].

nellie dont drag me into you fallie down shenanigans

Who me or soop jeni?xx

thanks soop not always upright [glass]. I Am in the heart of Norfolk, about 90 minutes away from Northampton....nite nite soop and all my lovely friends hope you all a trouble free night god bless you allxxxxxx

Why not me then? What have I done to upset you?

The right should have been crossed through...nelliedeane A crescent moon to you and all other loveable GN's

So, nellie dear, where are you? Wherever it is, the place is blessed to have the likes of you as an up--right--lifting citizen.

Smartish Evans jeans with belt, white M & S T shirt - a bit short and keeps riding up, tan sandals, earrings, bangles, white watch and pink necklace, wedding + eternity ring. Wore a grey/blue linen jacket to pop into work though it's chillier now so will wear navy cardigan/jacket if I have to go back. Hair scrunched but going floppy because of the wind. Glasses and of course make up.

soop my lovely you look from your lovely pictures every inch a Scottish lassie, even though you are not as I imagine you to look, when I read your threads I always hear you in a soft lilting accent, now when I see your name I can picture you and hear your words you will always have a lilting voice in my head,Northampton isn't very many miles from where I amxxxxx

jeni I'm proud of my home town. I love Scotland.

I like the word "untrammelled" Bags - well done for finding an opportunity to wheel it out!

Oh! I know it! Which do you prefer? There, or where you are now?

Northampton...the once famous boot and shoe town.

I love rings and have inherited a number of family rings. Even as a child, I adored them and used to love to play with my aunt's jewellery box – she also loved rings. Tried wearing a bracelet yesterday and it got on my nerves, but always wear several rings.

soopwhereabouts in the midlands did you come from?

I never wear any rings. I like my hands to be untrammelled. Rings just get in my way or fall off, as happened to my wedding ring a few weeks after I got married. It fell off into a bundle of hay I was loosening for a horse, probably into its next mouthful as it was nosing me out the way!

Oh nellie how I wish that I had the gift of the beautiful Scots' accent. I was born and raised in the Midlands but have lived here for nine wonderful years. The nearest I shall ever be to being a born-again Scot, was when I had a blood transfusion after hip surgery. That nice dishy surgeon assured me that it was "home grown"...

It is a very wide ring (60s fashion) and I worry about catching finger while working, friend of sister-in-law slipped while cleaning windows and caught ring on window catch, tore her finger off her hand. gets scratched while doind DIY too.

harrigran, I'm intrigued!

Why no wedding ring in the house?

Very plain and ordinary here. Pink slipper boots, black cotton skirt, bright yellow t-shirt, no jewellery apart from wedding and eternity rings. Oh, black and white patterned hairband.

Gold sequin fitflops, black and white striped trousers and plain white T shirt. Tarty dark nail varnish on toenails. Don't wear wedding ring in the house. Not exactly warm here today but comfortable in the house.

Will have to make sure I have some doggie treats in the pocket ....
