I note very few of us are wearing dresses or skirts! Moi, I never feel happy in trousers!

My beloved crocs sandals (bought in Durban and very stroppy) black crops, black vest top, white Per Una embroidered cotton shirt. Gold rings, gold chain, man's gold watch. Been to France for the day, and am about to swap the lot for lounging stuff!

I'm very tempted to say that I'm sitting here in the nude, except for a fetching pair of chandelier earrings and a diamond ankle bracelet, because I haven't mentioned it before but I'm a naturist.

(But it's not true. I'm waiting for bedtime so I can just say I'm in my dressing-gown )

Now if this was Skype we could see if we are all telling the truth!!! I have to say you all sound as if you scrub up extremely nicely!!!
White linen trousers (Next) purple/indigo Sahara linen short-sleeved top, white shoes, shell necklace in shades of blue/mauve/pink etc /pearl earrings,wedding ring, opal engagement ring, diamond ring on other hand (MIL's engagement ring, very nice and ultra glitzy!!) had tinted misturiser on at the start of the day= probaby all gone now.

Black jeans, black Birkenstock sandals black t-shirt and purple floaty top. Large-ish dangly earrings and silver necklace and silver bracelet. Large silver ring on right hand, wedding ring etc on left. (Crikey - I sound like a Christmas tree without the lights on!)

"Hotter" shoes, pale green M&S cropped cotton trousers, green M&S top, watch, no make up - oh - and apron as have been baking most of the day.

Columbia walking sandals, popsocks M & S Black and white cotton skirt (which has had its silver anniversay!) addidas white aertex type shirt (also 25 yearsold!) and silver sphinx designed by Ola Gory from Orkney.

A tatty old polo shirt, M&S shorts, trainer socks and crocs (you caught me on a scruff day!) (I have a lot of scruff days!!)

Orange striped linen M & S trousers from 5 or so years ago. Black slip on sandals. Blue Boden patterned tee. Mascara, silver earrings.

Forgot the £6 multicoloured Tesco necklace but please don't tell my mother.

Very old brown leather Birkenstock sandals, blue linen skirt, red short sleeved M & S t-shirt, thin gold chain, medic-alert pendant (I'm diabetic), watch, glasses.

Clarke's sandals, Lands End linen trousers, black cotton v neck tee shirt, my mother in law's wedding ring, diamond engagement ring, diamond ring given to me by my husband in our 40th wedding anniversary ( I don't like rubies!) Large watch with purple strap, rimless specs, any make up left over from application at 7 am along with the remains of Clinique Aromatics applied at the same time. I haven't looked but I guarantee it's not a pretty sight. One of the benefits of being 63 is that I like to look nice to start with but can then forget it.

Size 14 is slender.

Greatnan Had you used to be a "bling lover" or did you wear your jewels with Princess Grace like style? And size 14 seems perfectly agreeable to me.

I am a cheap skate - Matalan trousers (but size 14!!!), Decathlon tee shirt (€3.50), glasses, cheap, very large watch, my one remaining piece of good jewellery, a 1 ct. diamond ring, as I have given all the rest to my daughters and grand-daughters. It has been very hot here today, so no cardigan.
And to think I used to swan around Monaco in a Rolls!

Baggy, loose-fitting, black cotton trousers. Deep rose zip-up top. Black ballerina shoes. No make-up, or jewellery, apart from my wedding band. Hair swept up and bound with a black velvet scrunchie. A thick har mist has descended on the sea.

Bronze Hotter sandals, linen mix M&S trousers (greyish), cotton shirt, checked pastel pinks, greens and purple (much nicer than it sounds) with elbow-length sleeves, part-rimless glasses, rose quartz drop earrings, steel watch, antique diamond ring. Hair now very damp because the weather has gone very humid and is still quite hot. Make-up long since disappeared in the heat.

Oh yes! forgot about the reading glasses which hang round my neck when not in use.

From feet up, trusty black DB shoes with zips worn over Tesco socks, Tesco grey stretch trousers, M & S turquoise V-neck T shirt, wedding ring, DH's signet ring, reading glasses. Makeup is moisture cream and colourless lip salve. Paler turquoise cardigan thrown over back of chair to put on if room gets cooler later on.

Debenhams stretch cropped trousers, BHS cotton T shirt and ancient Clarks walking sandals (just returned from a walk). Most days I am a scruff bag as I potter in the garden all the time, and have a walk at some point. My mother used to say, when out in old clothes, either 'nobody knows me' or 'everybody knows me' whichever was appropriate.

Slap – that's what I meant; not splash or splosh. OMG is this the beginning of the end – more and more CRAFT (can't remember a thing) moments?

Thick blue hiking socks (had Gabor slides on earlier but feet too cold; back to thik thokth and crocs), black denim trousers (not jeans proper; no pockets), black long-sleeved round necked cotton tee, Kaffe Fassett design peruvian pima kimono, Sheila Flett silver pendant, hair-slide I bought in Ithaca, NY. No face paint.
