Mine is finally getting a knitted teddy bear to look reasonable. I am hopeless at faces on any toy I knit. These little teddies looked so easy, but the first two I made are currently starring in their own Horror Movie called "How to terrify a Child."

That's lovely, Annika - such good news! And as you say, a lot of time to get sorted. smile

My DD has just rung and told me that she has set a date for her wedding (after her and her boyfriend have been together 9 years) I am so excited ! grin.
The date is August 3rd 2013, so plenty of time for me to sort out a hat to wear grin

POGS Wed 16-May-12 21:27:08

glassortwo'

I hope it doesn't make her giggle, I'm far too old for a new mum!
Crikey I think I might have nightmares tonight.

glassortwo Wed 16-May-12 21:24:00

pogs that made me giggle the thought of him chasing the carer around grin

POGS Wed 16-May-12 21:22:10

glassortwo.

You are kind. He did but I forgot he can't chew meat very well and I took him for a carvery. He is on a strong dose of morphine and he had a pint of mild for a treat and it went straight to his head, wobbled to the car. I just hope he behaves himself with his carer tonight he is quite a ladies man.

Lovely day though.

At Tai Chi this morning I was shown an exercise to help with carpal tunnel syndrome. Almost instantaneous relief from the pain in my hand and wrist.

glassortwo Wed 16-May-12 20:42:00

POGS Wed 16-May-12 20:28:56

Getting the grass cut for the first time in a month as it is the first dry day we have had since then. By 6.00pm the grass was finally dry enough, although the ground was still soft and the cut grass was really heavy because it was so lush and green and long. I now look out of the window onto a lovely smooth lawn - and quietly forget that most of it seems to be moss.

Dr started me back on my HRT, I can start to feel like me again, instead of the grey shadow I was turning into.

CharlieAnn Wed 16-May-12 19:39:55

Jeni , was the judge Simon Cowell, cos if it was you could have reined in your better instincts and done us all a favour!

jeni Wed 16-May-12 19:33:58

I stopped myself from murdering the judge with whom I was sitting! Grrrrrrrrrrrr!

Anagram Wed 16-May-12 18:41:00

Sewsilver, whatever you've had to deal with, I hope it's resolved soon. Life can be an absolute b...h, can't it? flowers

Sewsilver Wed 16-May-12 18:06:28

In the middle of a horrific week which I can't even begin to talk about had lunch with an old friend who bought me a big bunch of flowers. It made a big difference.

greenmossgiel Wed 16-May-12 17:04:21

Well that's a relief, then, Mamie! smile

Just been to visit a neighbour who moved into sheltered housing in the village. Had a good chat and a coffee.
