Mine is finally getting a knitted teddy bear to look reasonable. I am hopeless at faces on any toy I knit. These little teddies looked so easy, but the first two I made are currently starring in their own Horror Movie called "How to terrify a Child."

Meeting up with Carol and her lovely sister for lunch in Montreux- lovely, sunny and hot and great company.

glassortwo Sat 26-May-12 20:36:39

elegran I might have managed that 40 years ago, but there's not much room in there these days grin

Elegran Sat 26-May-12 20:21:10

You'd need a bendy straw for the vodka pouches in your bra.

glassortwo Sat 26-May-12 20:05:04

jeni grin grin grin of course!!!

jeni Sat 26-May-12 20:04:33

Crossed posts. I was replying to the vodka one, but no! Not until after the three cruises I have booked anyway! grin

glassortwo Sat 26-May-12 20:03:54

Walked over to the disused golf course round the corner and had a lunchtime picnic by the pond with my daughter and two of my grandchildren, not one other person in sight we ate salad rolls and fruit , we watched the aircraft taking off from the RAF station nearby.. a nice memory to store away..

jeni Sat 26-May-12 20:02:32

glass you are joking?

glassortwo Sat 26-May-12 20:02:29

jeni they had better start saving, I hope you dont intend leaving soon.

JessM Sat 26-May-12 20:00:49

Goodness - perfect for smuggling into festivals, tucked in your bra?

glassortwo Sat 26-May-12 19:59:57

elegran Asda sell vodka in plastic pouches for slipping into your handbag grin not that I have ever bought one shock

jeni Sat 26-May-12 19:59:48

I scattered my DH's ashes off Berry Head in Torbay where we used to base our yacht. I actually scattered them from the yacht, then patted her, said goodbye and sold her!

I hope my children don't do the same with the QE! They can't afford to buy her to sell her!

All those places to hold such memories E. flowers

Well, at that time it was mainly tea and it meant she could have the cup to play with when I'd finished, and drink pretend tea.... She certainly put a lot of effort into getting the mug!

Elegran Sat 26-May-12 19:57:10

glass I read that as plastic bags, not Bags Wondered why you would want to drink vodka out of a plastic bag. Whatever turns you on.

Just got back from seeing my 2 grandsons ar their home where we had a barbeque. Heaven

Elegran Sat 26-May-12 19:55:13

It means I have to get out and about to go to all these places too. The city is full of beautiful places to walk (I have thought of 12 without any effort, and more will come to me), and there will be memories everywhere. Good memories, though, and worth revisiting.

jeni Sat 26-May-12 19:55:00

I shall have to find an antique feeding glass bottle, for me!grin

Ella46 Sat 26-May-12 19:54:55

Just spent the afternoon with my ds, dil and grandchildren. 7month old whizzing up and down the hall and kitchen in her baby walker, laughing her little head off smile
She reaches her arms up to me now when she sees me and smiles, I am her slave forever!

Ella46 Sat 26-May-12 19:50:30
