Thank you all for your good wishes, I am sitting here in my dressing gown with my favourite little boy here for the day. Don't intend to do very much although we will go out for a walk if the weather holds. I have never been so old before but trying to comfort myself with the thought that I will never be so young again! So glad I found gransnet and lots of lovely equally young friends x

I hope everyone will forgive me if I forget their birthday - after ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren I am all birthdayed out! I never celebrate my own birthday and don't mind if others forget it.
