Received my copy from GN and dived in. Santa Montefiore transports you to Tuscany and delicious food. Joy and sadness too, but wonderful escapism! Thank you GN

I read the book when it first came out, am a fan of SM. I remember sitting in the bath reading the ending and sobbing! I won't say whether it was happy or sad! If you like a tear jerker I can recommend her The French Gardener.
