I received a signed copy of this book as an Autumn giveaway. It's a lovely book to handle, has a bright and colourful layout and gives an original and engaging slant on learning to count. The story is amusing and so typical of a child's blossoming awareness of the meaning of number and counting. The interplay between brother and little sister is so real. I loved it! I haven't read it to any children yet, but as a retired teacher, I'm sure this book will be immensely popular with any child, at least up to Year 4. It would make an ideal Christmas present.
