Preserving / converting old audio tape

I recently borrowed an audio tape player and played an old audio tape from 42 years ago.
My son, then age 5, was talking about going to school and my youngest son, about 16 months tha old, was just starting to talk.
It was wonderful.
This tape is so precious.
What can it be converted to to preserve it forever?
I’d be very grateful for your experience and advice.
Thank you

I located a company called Digital Converters online that converted an old VHS tape of my DD to DVD format and they also do sound reels and cassette tapes to CD. I don't know if it could be streamed.

It was all quite straight forward and didn't cost too much.

If you're on the likes of Facebook, try asking on local residents' groups. I know there is a man who lives near me who can convert all sorts of audio and video tapes into digital and other formats now, so there may well be someone in your area who can do the same.
