Role modelGrandma Amandaland

Great series, so funny, and wonderful characters especially JL.

She is adorable. The kind of lady you'd want as an aunt. She would show you the ropes in any situation and be loved by all your friends and they would envy you completely!!! 😊❤️

Just listened to the first episode of "Conversations from a Long Marriage" after your recommendations ladies. Thank you. I really enjoyed it and what a fabulous voice Roger Hallam has! Sorry to go off topic and another JL fan here.

Small but important fact: Joanna grows her own lemons for her G and Ts.

Lots of us want to look like Joanna Lumley. And one of my favourite radio programmes at the moment is 'Conversations from a Long Marriage' on Radio 4 starring Joanna and Roger Hallam. Thoroughly recommend.

Yes that radio programme is fabulous. And I'm another JL fan. Such a positive, caring women. Looks fantastic and very caring with her charitable concerns

Amandaland - BAFTA TV Award for Best Scripted Comedy

Love Joanna Lumley. Still a class act and gorgeous.

But l think Amandaland, is a poor tenth rate spin off from Motherland
Wish they wouldn't do this. You know, try to wring the last drop of milk from what was an excellent series. 👎

Joanna Lumley is fab. For me I can see many similarities with Pamela ( The great Alison Steadman in Gavin and Stacey)!!!

Fabulous Joanna. From what I've heard about her she is nothing like the part she plays in Amandaland. She is an excellent actress so plays the arrogant selfish grandmother well.

I meant the character ? (Obvs we all want to be JL) . Love how she puts herself first.

I would give my spleen to look like Joanna Lumley. (Well maybe not).

I'd give up my morning coffee (not sure about spleen, although you can live without it).

I'm also a big fan of Joanna Lumley. I enjoy her travel programmes.

My DIL used to have business dealings with JL, she said she is “absolutely fabulous “ always positive, kind and polite.
She always referred to my DIL as darling in emails, I imagine everyone is darling to JL!

I would give my spleen to look like Joanna Lumley. (Well maybe not).

Joanna Lumley is good, yes, but the character in Amandaland is horribly unkind to her daughter.

Wanna be Helen Mirren in the two "Red" comedy thrillers 😉

Wanna be Judi Dench as "M"

Joanna Lumley is just tops tho as an all rounder.

I think Juliecymru wants to be Felicity!!

Who I imagine is rather like Joanna Lumley is in real life 😀

I channel (Chanel?) Joanna every day. She is superb.
