Trip to London

Two of my grandchildren live in Kew, so we often go into London on the District Line, as others have said just tap your debit card on reader - I do have an RFID card in my purse which stops anyone cloning my cards - they're on Amazon if interested.
I'd also agree so many places are walkable, rather than cab, Uber or tube - have a fantastic day - looks like the sun is going to shine on you X

I'm confused - to me a black cab is a taxi? I would call the other private hires.

It’s a very easy walk from Paddington to the museums across Hyde Park, past the Royal Albert Hall, where you can stop for a coffee and loo break on the way. Door 12.

The Citymapper app is brilliant for navigating, including walking routes.

The Victoria and Albert Museum, which is next door to the NHM is worth a visit if you have time.

I bring a picnic to eat in the garden in front of the NHM, weather permitting.

I use both Black cab and Uber in London, the Black Cab will be more expensive due to the traffic. Also, on the Tube you just need to tap your Debit card so no need to but tickets. Have a lovely day

London Black Cabs will take cash or card.

I personally wouldn’t use an Uber or any other form of taxi in London.

Enjoy your day with your GD, if you have time the Battersea complex is worth a visit, easily reached by the numerous water taxi’s on the Thames.
