Purchasing from ‘Must Have Idea’s’ - your thoughts?

They're stuff is quite good, but very often you can buy the same things cheaper elsewhere.

I bought some Stretch Fresh containers from Amazon which were almost half the price and they're fine.

They're a reputable company and their customer service is good, but I do think their website is designed to make you think the product ideas are exclusive to them, which isn't always the case.

There are some very good reviews on Facebook, but I doubt their authenticity.. I've noticed that the amount of comments don't match the said amount, so think they must delete some. A couple of people who I know have bought and been happy with their purchases. However, I bought a set of 2 bags, that are supposed to keep things either hot or cold for up to 8 hours. I tested one out with a cottage pie, straight from the oven, it was barely warm in 3 hours time. I can't really complain as they're covered by the words "up to". It's put me off buying again.

I bought the long handled rubber brush...It's not what I expected...the rubber is a bit stiff..gone back to a brush with bristles.

I bought their mold remover gel which was great so I then bought lots of things from them None of which were very good and some were downright awful [eg a plastic bag sealer and a fold up table [which collapsed if you touched it]. Their delivery service is very good. I told them they should stop selling the table as it was dangerous but they ignored me. They did, however, reimbursed me with what I'd paid for them [I'd bought two one for each grandchild but they were too dangerous to use]. A rubber tipped broom doesn't work anywhere near as well as another one I'd bought from somewhere else years ago. I prefer Easylife but you have to be careful not to join up to their loyalty scheme which is a con. MHI videos are very good and you do get sucked into buying things from them. But many things can be bought elsewhere.

I’ve bought a few items from this company : Nanna’s Secret Cleaning clay which is amazing on all surfaces particularly on my induction hob. Also great for removing limescale. Easy flow sticks for drains sorted out my kitchen sink whiff. Byebye Bobbles is great for bobbly jumpers. - I use it a lot 🤦‍♀️ A very good company to deal with & quick delivery

I’ve bought several things from them, on the basis that the mould remover gel worked really well.
The last two things were not good, and were expensive compared with offers elsewhere and you have to pay P&P.

I got a table which may be the same as MayBee's to use during lockdown when I was in Zoom calls. It did the trick, but you need to swivel the L shaped legs so they point away from you and are anchored under something. I used a heavy coffee table. It collapses and fits behind the sofa, but I don't need it now, as we converted a spare bedroom into a study when Zooming caught on and I started doing a lot of my work that way.

The other things I've bought are storage bags for yarn, which are good, and a long handled brush with a vacuum attachment thing, as the cleaner kept bashing the skirting with the usual vacuum and chipping the paint, and we thought it would solve the problem. It's pretty useless.

The advert said the table would take the weight of a sewing machine. I wouldn't even risk a cup of tea on it.

Maybe it's different. Mine is white plastic with L shaped legs. It happily took the weight of a laptop perched on as many books as I needed (large hardbacks) to bring it to eye level, but that only worked when it was anchored by the coffee table. The alternative would be to pull it much closer and tuck the legs under the sofa, but the distance would have been wrong for Zoom.

In both cases it relied on the sofa having feet rather than legs, and the coffee table being close to the floor and heavy, and they should probably have made that clear in the listing. I found it very useful though.

Oh after those recommendations I am going to try their mould remover then, I keep seeing adverts for it but was a bit skeptical.

The mould remover is their best product. However you can buy similar things online.

I would suggest, though, that if anyone buys anything else from them check to see if any of us has purchased one first.

I’m most impressed with their space saving hangers. Not that impressed with the lavatory brush, though.
